The purpose of this section is to host and recruit pertinent information for and from those people who are providing services, including education to populations at risk or infected with hepatitis A or other viral hepatitis. Your knowledge and the services and information you have to share is important for the community.

The materials that we receive and present will be available to you and others are intended to be printed, copied and distributed as appropriate for your audience.

We encourage you to send information that you feel beneficial to share with others through this web based resource center. Your email address provided to us will also help us to share with you notifications about upcoming web based and live conferences, and new information about viral hepatitis.

  1. Remember, Hepatitis A is a reportable disease.

  2. A slide set on hepatitis A is available for your use as a training material from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. You can download this slide set directly from their web site at www.cdc.gov/hepatits.

  3. Continue to evaluate patients with current liver disease for the need to vaccinate against hepatitis A and hepatitis B.

  4. Refer to Hepatitis Resources on this site for more information.
