VIRTUAL CONFERENCE CENTER

Introduction

The Hepatitis Resource Center Virtual Conference is a password protected environment for the exchange of ideas, a place for private consultation, online learning and hosted conferences. Attendees to the Hepatitis Resource Center Virtual Conference start a meeting or conversation in writing and then members (invited participants) arrive and respond. Comments are viewed in order of time they are made so the result is much like a real dialogue. Discussion items are separated by subject and person featured so it is automatically organized, time stamped and archived. Because the conversation is web-based, the virtual conference can include a wide variety of tools, such as PowerPoint slide sets, video, audio and chat. The software allows uploading of images and other media files, so basically anything you can do on the web you can do inside the virtual conference center.
